All original audio was stripped from the video except for an a cappella vocal track, and then we layered in soundscapes and effects for ambience.
We initially had plans to record all foley on the campus soundstage, but we had to pivot and use location sound when we went into lockdown Spring 2020 and were not able to access campus resources.
The final result might not have included wind if not for the pandemic, but I got to live my backup dancer fantasy recording ADR to a video of trained choreographers and had fun regardless!
